Q: How do I make a purchase?
When you see an item you want, click on "Select" to put the item in your Cart. Click on "View Cart" to proceed to Checkout. You will receive an email in 1-2 days confirming acceptance of your order by BitterSweetOnline.com.

Q: What forms of payments are accepted?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.

Q: Will sales tax be charged on my order?
We are required by law to charge PST and GST on all orders shipped within Ontario, Canada. GST (7%) will be charged on all orders shipped outside of Ontario, including US.

Q: How accurate are the colours displayed on the Website?
Colour varies slightly from one computer monitor to another depending on the display settings.

Shipping

Q: How much will I pay for shipping charges?
We offer three options to choose from:
  1. * Next Business Day within Canada: $35 FedEx Express (this option is not available for Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, Yukon, and Northwest Territories)
  2. * Standard within Canada: $10 FedEx Ground (1-3 business days)
  3. * Continental US (not including Alaska and Hawaii): $15 FedEx Ground (7-10) business days)
Note: We do not ship to P.O. boxes.

Q: Do you ship to Alaska and Hawaii or Internationally?
No, we do not offer shipping to Alaska and Hawaii or internationally at this time.

Q: When will my order arrive?
We ship most orders within 2-3 business days after you receive an email order confirmation from us. After your order has been shipped from our warehouse, you will receive another email with the tracking number by FedEx.

We've created sizing charts to help you select rings and necklaces that are right for you. Please be advised that these sizing charts are guidelines only. Especially for rings, the right size will also depend on the width of the ring.

BitterSweetOnline.com Return Policy

We would be pleased to exchange or issue a store credit for most items* purchased online within 14 days of purchase. Please be advised that we only process exchanges and store credit for products purchased online at our online store by mail.

* For hygienic reasons, the following items cannot be exchanged or returned for a store credit:

- Earrings
- Toe Rings
- Hair Accessories (including Tiaras)
- Body Jewelry
- Opened (non factory sealed) beauty product

*All clearance sale items are final sale and cannot be exchanged or returned for store credit.
*All Gift Certificates are final sale. No exchange, no refund.

When you receive your package, we ask that you examine it closely prior to opening the factory sealed product packaging. If you are not satisfied with your order and your product can be exchanged, you can only exchange or receive a store credit for your product at our online store by mail. Please fill out our Return Qualification Form to obtain a Link: Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. It will take approximately 2 business days before an RMA is issued to you. IMPORTANT: Packages returned without an RMA number will be refused. Your RMA number is valid for 14 days. Simply return the product in the same condition as when you received it, with all accessories, and the packing slip.

Please note that exchanges are not available on any hygiene sensitive products – earrings, toe rings, hair accessories, body jewelry, and beauty products. If defective, these products may be exchanged within 14 days of receiving them. Shipping and handling (S&H) charges are non-refundable; however, we will gladly refund your original shipping cost if you are returning an item because of an error on our part, or we have determined the product to be defective.

All products must be returned in their original purchase condition, with the original packing material, and include any other items or accessories provided by the manufacturer, and must be received by BitterSweetOnline.com within 14 days of the invoice date. IMPORTANT: We reserve the right to refuse any returns, or charge a restocking fee for damaged or incomplete returns. In the event that a returned order has items missing, the order may be refused, or the value of the missing materials may be deducted from the total credit amount.

Return policy and limited guarantee against defects

BitterSweetOnline.com's 30 day limited guarantee is a special exchange policy for defective items that provides for either repair or replacement (at our sole discretion) of merchandise that has been confirmed to be defective by either the manufacturer or BitterSweetOnline.com. Due to hygienic reasons, we do not accept returns on earrings, hair accessories, body jewellery, beauty products, and any other merchandise referred to as hygiene sensitive. Defective hygiene sensitive merchandise will be exchanged for the same item only according to BitterSweetOnline.com's limited 30 day guarantee as described above. Terms and conditions may vary by product or manufacturer. BitterSweetOnline.com will assist customers whenever possible in gaining satisfaction with product manufacturers. Purchasing by Minors

For the protection of our shoppers, you must be of legal age to purchase from our web site. If you are under the legal age of majority and wish to purchase from our online store, please have a parent or legal guardian make the purchase for you.

Misprints

We do our best to provide you with the most up-to-date and accurate information. In the event that an error does occur, we reserve the right to correct or cancel an order at any time, and/or edit an order to reflect the correction, and/or correct the error on our web site. In the event that you are shipped an incorrect product, we will gladly accept the unit back and offer you a full refund.

CCID

As an added security measure, we ask that you enter an extra 3-4 digit number located on the back of your credit card, on or near the signature panel, called the CCID. (American Express customers have a 4 digit CCID located on the front of the card.) Click here for a sample of what your CCID looks like.

What is the CCID and What does it look like?
For your protection, we ask that you enter an extra 3-4 digit number called the CCID. The CCID is NOT your PIN number. It is an extra ID printed on your Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express Card.

Visa, MasterCard, and Discover: On the back of the card in the top-right corner of the signature box. Enter the three-digit number following the credit card number. (See below.)

American Express: On the front of the card. Enter the four-digit number on the right directly above the credit card number. (See above.)
